The Seiche "Underwater Acoustics 2009" courses held at NPL last for up to one week and consist of two consecutive teaching modules. Attendance at both is not compulsory although the Basic Underwater Acoustics course is obviously a very useful precursor to either of the more advanced courses.

The first module: "Basic Underwater Acoustics", contains 14 one-hour tuition sessions and 7 one-hour tutorial/discussion sessions. Delegates will also have the opportunity to visit underwater acoustics measurement and test facilities at NPL.
